Whether you are starting your career or wish to extend your experience, working at IIIM provides an opportunity to work closely with highly qualified professionals and institutes in diverse fields.

We are particularly interested in individuals with experience in at least one of the following areas:

  • Machine learning, knowledge representation
  • Machine vision, machine hearing
  • Realtime systems, dynamical systems
  • Multi-agent systems, large-scale and/or high- performance systems
  • Robotics, sensor fusion, signal processing

We have several positions open at senior and junior levels, including research scientists, software engineers, post-docs andtechnical specialists. Qualified applicants may advise students and teach advanced courses at Reykjavik University’s School of Computer Science, the country’s most prestigious computer science department.

Open Positions in 2010

In 2010 we’re especially looking for hiring into the positions of R&D programmer/analyst. Applicants should have a graduate degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline, and 5-10 years of industry experience, deep knowledge and experience in systems design, C++ coding and debugging, multi-threading and one or more interpreted languages. Successful candidates will be given key roles and autonomy in the design, development and delivery of advanced systems in the areas of artificial intelligence and simulation.
