Around 4700 visitors attended this annual event involving a wide range of scientific and research organizations. IIIM continued its tradition with presenting several projects during Vísindavaka. IIIM Awarded Quality Label for Cluster Management Excellence

In less than two years of operations the Icelandic Institute for Intelligent Machines is proud to have been awarded the European Bronze Label of Cluster Management Excellence.
Over 100 business clusters participated in the survey resulting in the awarding of the Excellence Label to IIIM.

Summary of Workshop on Self-Programming, 2011 (AGI-11, Google, CA.)

On Thursday, August 4, IIIM organized a workshop on self-programming in AGI systems at the Fourth Conference on Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) in Google’s headquarters, Mountain View, CA. The workshop featured presentations by seven authors on the subject of self-programming systems and a panel discussion among the participants.
